We wouldn't have discovered this place in the middle of our beautiful country if we hadn't tried our luck with a Smartbox gift box. Lost in mounting in a pretty village, we were enchanted! Welcome a little cold at first but the manager finally likes to chat well once in confidence. The room was simply impeccable (very clean and very comfortable bedding, ultra calm , as to the meal (menu terroir at 38€ and vegetarian at 30€ , it was just very tasty and very copious! Very unpleasant reception staff. We met this Monday morning in Vitrac for a hike. Since the local bar (closed) is twinned with this hotel, the mayor suggested that we go and ask the hotel if we could have a coffee before leaving and the weather clears up a little. Response from the person at the restaurant next to reception: “I don’t do a bar”. Period, no smile, no discussion, very cold. I don't think I'll be coming to a The original hotel chain anytime soon that oversells human qualities that are ultimately absent when the opportunity presents itself.
Very nice inn in a lovely setting which we unfortunately were not able to fully enjoy due to the terrible weather during our visit. We were warmly welcomed and our room was spotless and comfortable. We also appreciated the restaurant which offers generous and quite fine dishes with impeccable service. The breakfasts are hearty with a generous variety of choices. We can only recommend this establishment.
We had an excellent stay, the staff were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Superb restaurant with regional specialties and fresh produce. Very complete breakfast. It is with pleasure that we will come back to take the time to discover the region. Eloise R.
