exquisite lunch, some flair and panache and a pub to the classic side of the kitchen put this excellent auberge side. pont l’eveque is a beautiful small town that is much restored and is worth a stop for a few hours. the city seems to have a large food culture and a good selection of restaurants. this healthy competition probably keeps the prices down and the cooks on their delicate menu wise. we have enjoyed a few courses very, and the many portions were rejected. a cassoulet of fish and black pudding tartlet, followed by a wonderful shlitt shoe and coasters and a delicious cassole of sucking piggy follow. very recommend this fine device. a small critique. wein through the glass or bottle a...

the joy at eating happens when their restaurant makes the effort to do the dinge they do not have the time to do home. auberge des dominicaines was a joy to meet on our way to the ferry to home. an excellent menu, a wide selection of appetizers net and most with considerable wall in the kitchen. mrs. O’ had eier florentine as starter spinat, fried eggs in Bechamel sauce, then with cheese under the grill. delicious a favorit for decades. Unexpected night in Pont l’Eveque so nothing planned or organised, but this restaurant was a delight. Really friendly and lovely service. Food choice a little limited, but that’s fine for me as I hate large menus where you know it can’t all be fresh. Highlight...was the fish fillet of the day, served meuniere, which my husband thought was one of the best fish dishes he has ever eaten (high praise indeed as I cook pretty good fish! Lovely wine menu too. Highly recommend.

the location is beautiful: historical, semi-concrete house, on the main road of this charming city. a fixed price menu lunch and dinner, with wine on the glass if you want. the service was on time. can't say friendly, but not unfriendly. the appetizers were in order, the main course very...Norman (with apples and apple wine accompanies our pork.) is not inspired. Although we had a perfect meal, we could say that the experience was averaged.

pleasant, friendly and efficient. large selection of meat and seafood. eating was very pleasant and cheap. we would definitely come back if we would return to pont l’eveque.
