lunch in the auberge des vignerons is the presentation not describe modern, reception warm and service friendly everywhere. the lunch is fixed: two appetizers, three main courses. on the day of our visit were the appetizers chicken liver salat and terrine de campagne. the salate. very tasty, the terrine quite insipid. main dishes: salmon, pork fillet or guinea pig in a sauce of cancer. on our table we had the last two. all dishes had tomato puree with a damped carrot on the top (also the salmon we saw on the other table) and all were served with creamy sauces. We ate in several restaurants in the Beaujolais region and this was by far the best, offering food typical from the region. A warm, cozy atmosphere with the Auberge ran by a husband and wife team. We had an evening meal and took the "menu of the moment" - three courses for 19 EURO when we visited. Each course was excellent (ask for the mashed potato as a side dish..), of note, even the desserts were all made in-house. For children there is a kids menu and they are welcome at the restaurant.
we ate here during a vacation trip. we both had escargots in a brioche, very good. then my wife had quails ad I had fish. together with a bottle of Fleurie, it was a very nice mail. kids running around in the restaurant spoiled the atmosphere a bit, but all together it was a nice discovery, at a reasonable price.
We chose the menu du jour at 19 euros but were very disappointed at the quality of the dishes. The starter was a basic cheese pate with simple salad, the main was a dish of three quarters mashed potato and barely one quarter duck and the desert a mixture of fruit and ice-cream. Total value roughly 11 euros.

We had a most wonderful experience here.Our server was a complete delight and entertained our rudimentary French with kindness.The chef also came out to check on us and helped to interpret our request to purchase some ground coffee to take back to our accommodation. Lovely French hospitality served here. :)
