This place is hidden away in a little village amongst the vines, about 30 mins from Perpignan. It is definitely worth the trip. Despite having a michelin star, it retains a country auberge' feel, with the chef/owner greeting you and seeing you to your table....There is a terrace for summer dining and a cozy dining room for the winter months. We had a bit of a blowout here taking the truffle menu at 85€ for four courses! It was excellent, with two dishes reaching well above the 1* level for me (an egg in a black shell made entirely of truffles, and a wonderful stew of lobster, chicken and truffles). However, you can eat much more frugally here at lunchtime there is a 19€ menu which seems ridi...

this restaurant with room is in a small village approx. 15 min n the autobahn a9 30 min from perpignan. in an old family-run hotel (only 4 bedrooms, although so early booking if you want to stay overnight) the dining room. also has a large outdoor terrace with sun umbrellas would be an ideal place for a good lunch and dinner. good selection of menus for dinner from less than 40 to over 100 € a reasonable wine list with a good value as well as expensive wine. the food we had was excellent, reasonable quantities, but good local products cooked excellent. service was also very efficient wthout overly pretentious. the breakfast we had was also excellent with a large selection of not only the usu...

Book a table now

We've been coming here for several years and have appreciated the steadily improving standards of M. Marin's cuisine. His recently awarded Michelin is well deserved. Discreet but professional service endorses the accomplished cooking anddelicate presentation of mainly locally-sourced ingredients. Painstaking and artistically prepared dishes...are the order of the day all served with care and flair. There is a good wine list to support the informal setting but we didn't appreciate the chioce of some crockery; my excellent foie gras was served on a dish reminiscent of a hospital bed-pan as was the asparagus chosen by one of my guests! Overall, some attentive and inspired cuisine makes this pla...

We were a large group of 10 and opted for the 3 course lunch menu for about €30-40 euros a head. Food was excellent and the setting on the terrace was beautiful. Staff were friendly but we were left hanging for long periods of time...at certain points, including having to remind staff to bring wine that we had ordered half an hour before. We were there for almost 4 hours, which was a lovely experience on the whole but the attentiveness of the service definitely falls short of what I've experience in other Michelin starred places. Great food and great wine came to about €60-70 each, good value for a special lunch. I would return.

We went with expectations set very high both due to the many very good TripAdvisor reviews and due to the recent Michelin award. We had the 6 course taste menu with accompaning wine menu The setting and the restuarant in itself as well as the...reception and the service during the meal was very good. So was the selection of wines (good local wines well matched with the food). Unfortunatlely to food did not live up to the rest of the experience, especially the fish and the tomato tiramisu were not good at all, and you would overall expect so much more from a restaurant with a Michelin award.

Book a table now

Our second visit to this restaurant and on both occasions we have been extremely happy with the experience. It has a nice informal feel, the terrace on a sunny day is ideal. The service is spot on with just the right balance of attention and...being left alone to enjoy, not at all fussy but all our needs were seen to. The food is exceptional, great quality products lovingly cooked. Always feel welcome and relaxed. I would strongly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Try the local wine too!
