A pretty auberge conveniently off the RCEA between Cluny and Charolles, this restaurant has been in the same family for 150+ years: we were served by the chef's wife and son. The attention is brisk, efficient and food arrives with a smile. We received a blow by blow account of the home made pâté when we asked and dishes were explained accurately and in English. I thoroughly enjoyed the plate of various charcuterie ( it would take a better foodie writer than me to describe the many tastes and textures offered) and the main course steak was very tasty, saignant and accompanied by delicious mushrooms in a cream sauce. Cheese and pudding arrived as a selection showing off the restaurant's choice...
