Honest, good value, French home cooking. In the week there are buffet options in the traditional style at set prices. The highlight for me is Saturday lunchtime when various meats are cooked over the fire and served with either French fries or a jacket potato and vegetables. The staff here are so lovely and it has such a cosy atmosphere. Lovely outdoor seating area for warm days with a view over this beautiful town. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because it doesn’t open evenings.Great wine at reasonable prices too!
we reserved a table for yesterday's lunchtime, as it was our jubilee. we sat outside for a glass of wine and then went in to our meal. we had a steak (viande grill cooked over hot coals that came with a jacket kartoffel with a yogurt chive dressing, ratatouille, bread basket a beautiful bottle of saumur champigny with a delicious cream brulee and caffe allongee. the food was great and the host jo is beautiful. it is now our place to go.
Especially don't go, we want to keep her secret for us! more seriously a small place that reminds us, if we sometimes forget it, what is the real life of a village and the real pleasure of having a good time. warm welcome, super good boss, excellent food and very reasonable price. Plus, just a little place not to miss.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Menu à 16,50 euros : entrées à volonté plat dessert cidre. Lorsqu'il y a du soleil, la terrasse extérieure est très agréable. Le serveur est aux petits soins.
