We had lunch over Christmas, and the food was very good. I see some comments limited by the menu what I feel is unfair, given the size of the place. My sister in the law is lactose intolerant and the staff immediately adjusted their food preparation to reflect this, no foot, no fee at all. I would recommend this warm, family-friendly raid to anyone looking for typical, friendly, good food in West Waadt.
Gastronmie Vaudois had a fondu offer in many restaurants and we chose the Lion d'Or. We made a reservation and when we arrived we were practically the only guests. The waitress didn't let us choose a table and she wasn't flexible at all. The food was good with beautiful shaped bread and a delicious fondue. The cook came to our table a few times and was very nice. Overall a pleasant evening.
I was here a few times, so a place to come back. Very nice veranda overlooking Lake Geneva. Many decisions on the menu and I was never disappointed. it's not cheap, but it seems to me right.
We took the sauce Vigneronne. Without hesitation I had the best fondue Bouruignon ever. fender meat, very tasty sauces, beautiful surroundings.
