Auberge Du Lion D Or

we booked for a fixed one. while we enjoyed eating, the service was terrible. it began to rain at the end of our meal, and our waitress re positioned an unbrella over our table to cover an adjacent table partially, which we told...either had to move tables or sit in the rain. it is unclear why the table next to us received preferred treatment, but after I paid almost 350 chf to dinner, I certainly did not expect us to get wet while the staff moved our cover to protect a table next to us.

elegant, young and informed staff, beautiful view of the lake in its discreet position in cologny. only visited two decades ago and the food was more substantial. it is now given very small fine-seed portions, it seemed unreasonably salty, it was lacking in prowess, character...and spectrum. limited menu, fine table manage, dizzy overdue, but still worth a visit if that's what they are after

on a gastronomic tour through some france and the Swiss. our first night in suisse, a really good evening, possibly the most beautiful table in the room, (I had booked well in advance) À picture window over lac leman. the service was exceptional, and pleasing with him. good was fabulous, we started our first lections in wonderful Swiss weeping. a crisp evening, many thanks.

the service was very attentive. eating (calamari entree atlantic fish in a salt crust) was very good. but we believe that we have paid more for the view, the service and the call than for the food. I had the same quality fried. calamari entree in Italian restaurants for half price. overall a very nice experience.

Very nice food and settings, top service but on the expensive side. Therefore a menu proposal would be a way of, hopefully, reducing the bill which by eating à la carte is on the high side.
