We've spend two evenings (diner in this restaurant and enjoyed it both times. We were there with our kids and everybody liked the food. Service is very friendly. The place is nice and intimous. And above all the prices are quite democratic ; I warmly recommend a stop in this restaurant if you ever go to Orcival.
What a great find The food was excellent and the set menu for €23 was excellent value. Service was really good and friendly. We were the only non locals there on a wet Monday lunchtime so we took it as a really good sign that the restaurant was really popular.
After a visit of the church, we went to Le Cantou restaurant, delicious foods of course melted cheese Saint Nectaire, jambon du pays, burger, potatoes, salad, and desserts: creme brulé with ice cream, bavarois, tiramisu.
Simple but well run restaurant with a bunch of local specialities on the menu and wine list. Prices reasonable and good service, recommended.
