Postcard setting on the main square and so atmospheric in the evening. The food was absolutely sensational- the selection of tapas was so good and the perfect way to start. The razor clams are sensational. Octopus tentacles were delicious, as was the spaghetti with clams. Crème brûlée and gelato to finish was the cherry on the top of a lovely summers evening out. Mid week you can call on the day for a table but on a Friday/ Saturday you will need to book a few days in advance.
Been going there for over 20 years and whilst the quality of the food varies the owner and staff are always friendly and the atmosphere really good. Last night however my food was terrible. Fish and chips well chips as the fish was all batter! I sent it back and the replacement was barely cooked. Raw batter and fish! The staff apologised but added no one else had complained. I recommend giving this place a miss
Being going there for over 25 years. Food has been variable but last night it had plummeted to a new low Fish and chips were disgusting First attempt all batter little fish second attempt raw batter barely cooked fish The service is usually good but last night though we did get an apology it was accompanied by “no one else has complained “ One to avoid !
Visited for lunch with an extended family of ten people. The service was excellent and quick. Set in the main square in Valbonne it is a wonderful place to have some drinks, lunch and people watch. The food was tasty. We had a few tapas dishes and enjoyed it. If you are visiting Valbonne, this is a beautiful place to have a quick meal.
