Now think again mate! After spending two weeks on holiday with our Gallic neighbors, I was constantly surprised at the poor quality food and poorer service we met. This seemed to be the restaurant that most people also go, so we decided to go here, after a quick look at the menu outside, we thought that this would be great for all of us as it had a variety. Our server spoke English...(bonus) but then he changed to another server that apparently did not speak English. The language barrier was difficult as he did not attempt to help or understand us. He kept putting out menus on the table as mats, even though this annoyed our toddler. I took his place for the server to take him out of my hands, and then put him back in front of my toddler, who then began to cry. That was **** for us as parents because this was a nice meal. We are here tonight a family of five. We were pleasantly surprised. I had a vegetarian pasta which was lovely, my two youngest children has three course meals (veg soup, spaghetti bolognaise and strawberry ice-cream). My partner had a chef pizza (chorizo, mushroom and egg)...and my teenage daughter had a margarita pizza. The pizzas were great and from a wood fired oven. We had a couple of drinks each and the bill came to 96 euros. Considering this is a very busy tourist place we thought this was good value for money. The restaurant was busy but the service was very friendly.
Food of lower quality than elsewhere in the region. Onion soup was tasty, but Moule rather poor, pizza most likely frozen. Beer more expensive than champagne in this place. Staff quite tired and unwilling. But you pay for the place.
