We have been here with my wife for a dinner during our stay in Propriano. The restaurant is in a village away from the sea, the view is the beautiful valley and the mountains at a distance. The food was very delicious and it was obvious that they were prepared fresh with care and love. The service was flawless. Our waiter Florian was amazing, friendly and professional, like all other members of the staff. The lady who owns the restaurant and runs the kitchen visited our table twice and she was extremely kind. I recommend this place with absolute confidence.
This place is around since more than twenty years and the owner is still cooking her delicious local dishes while the son runs the service.The setting in the hills above Propriano is nice and quiet.Be prepared for huge portions. if you are American and are looking for a lot of food you gonna be in heaven. if you are used to normal French portions you are up for a surprise. consider sharing deserts and maybe even the main dish.The food is yummy!
Despite a very good reception and servers at the top the kitchen itself did not seduce us despite good promises. Perhaps we made a bad choice (canneloni with brocciu for the dish) but our experience is not in agreement with the good reviews that this establishment receives. We don't understand! after the frame is really great and the attentive and professional service but the flavors are not at the rendezvous for the dishes we chose:/tosole
very good time in this idyllic restaurant faca a olmeto! a hearty flat and very good we took the windru in excellent!! In a dab of wild boars too, the idem calf jump and the lamb leg! Nothing to say perfect accompaniment to a good glass of wine! note the good advice of the boss for the choice of dishes! Thank you to the chef to come to see us to know our feeling! We had a great evening on the occasion of a Corsican evening. the welcome was really warm. they are in small care for each client and very attentive. concerning the meal, it is very copied and excellent. a great value for money! all this in front of a spectacle of sumptuous Corsican chants.I advise you it is a very good address to make the eyes closed
