Aurelio’s used to be a favorite. I was confused by the poor reviews as of late, but sadly they are true. Very simple pizza order incorrect as you could see, there are no peppers on the meat pizza. Literally the worst wings we’ve ever seen in our life and the cheese was already hard when we brought it home; the sauce is good, the crust decent, but not a good pizza experience at all. Also $86 for two pizzas, 9 wings, a 2 Liter Pepsi.
This review is for the Downers Grove location only.We moved from the La Grange area and loved Aurelio’s so we’re excited there was one in our new location. BUT this pizza is not the same! It’s full of High school kids who don’t care. We have ordered twice and both times the pizza has be horrible.This last time I had to ask my husband if he accidentally ordered extra cheese and sauce. We couldn’t even eat it.So very disappointing.
I don’t ever leave bad reviews. but this place was so bad I had too. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this place. Absolutely terrible. So soggy it’s soaking through the box. And why is there an entire bottle of Italian seasoning on the top? Don’t get me started on the price. If you order from here you are making a big mistake!
Made a order to pick up some breadsticks and they hung up on me, called back no apologies or anything they asked what sauce I want I said garlic, just got home the breadsticks arnt cooked and they forgot my garlic. Like you had 1 job bro couldn’t get more simple than that Book a table now
For those with dietary restrictions: the gluten-free pizza is the main reason I’m giving a 5-star review. Don’t get me wrong, the regular pizza is fantastic, but the gluten-free option is exceptional compared to anywhere else we’ve tried.
If there's a better pizza in the Chicagoland area, I haven't found it yet! Aurelio's slogan is "It's the sauce," and they couldn't be more accurate. It's all about the sauce, the cheese, the crust, and the fresh toppings. Truly the best!
I was disappointed with the pizza we ordered. We chose a large sausage pizza, but it tasted and looked like a frozen one. At $40, it was a rip-off. I wouldn't recommend it.
This is a very small Aurelio’s Pizza. Their Pizza is fantastic! Staff are kind and Downers Grove is a nice area! Book a table now
This Aurelio’s gets stuffed pizza right every time. Love the new rewards program too.
