I come here 6 days a fortnight 2.30pm or 6.30pm for a feed.I've been doin this for the last 5 months. A hotel is number 6 out of 144!? And rightly so we discovered!Impressed because we thought to have some pub food here but they exceeded all expectations. Beautiful steak, exactly as ordered, kids loved their fish and chips and calamari dish. Butter chicken Indian dish was very tasty but could do with some rice as it was a lot of sauce but not much more.Really enjoyed our meals, friendly and quick service. Highly recommended.

Steaks are always good (and food here in general) and no exception this time. However the steak I had must have been pre-cooked and was only just warm. On the plus side, we got our food super quick after ordering, especially for a steak. Book a table now
Great authentic pub. Good hot food, well cooked. Specials are well priced. Steaks are similar to other places or a little more. Prepare to wait if they are full in the restaurant. Good food, good drinks, fun atmosphere.
The service was very slow, nearly 30mins for two meals, which meant we had to rush our dinner as we had a show at the MECC. Cash only bar. Food was very good though.
My local. Great bistro and pool and pub on one side. Really good food out the back. Just been for Sunday lunch - pretty much packed. Highly recommended pub.
