We arrived at our B&B late, a little concerned about where we might get dinner on a Sunday night in what felt like such a remote location to two city dwellers like ourselves. After leaving the hustle and bustle of lively Bilbao (and after two days of eating only pintxos), finding this little traditional basque haven in the hills was a welcome surprise. The padrons were salty goodness treats, followed by some tasty baby octopus, a luscious seafood paella and a cheeky cheesecake to finish. We were more than surprised, we were massively impressed. El restaurante está en lo alto de un pequeño monte, en plena naturaleza, pudiendo disfrutar de un silencio muy agradable en la terraza del mismo. La comida se nota que es 100% casera, pedimos de entrantes croquetas (buena ración), tortilla de bacalao y la morcilla de verduras, esta última nos encantó. Como principal la txuleta, que viene 1,100 kg aproximadamente con ración de patatas, suficiente para las 3 personas que eramos. Gran variedad de postres, a destacar la tarta de queso al horno. Repetiremos seguro.
