Pros: Quite countryside location. Picturesque route to hotel through Massif du Sancy with friendly cows coming to you from hills if you make a stop. Free WiFi (not so stable though) & parking. Restaurant. Communicative staff.Cons: Really difficult to find! But the guy from hotel restaurant helped us find the way. Check out at 10AM (on booking.com it's 10-11AM)! Room is rather small, difficult to unpack luggage. No privacy in shower; its just in room with no door. Room isolation: doors are clacking, metal stairs make noise. Decor is is modern alpine Tables not crowded together Menu for lunch offered options for each course . The presentation of each course was delightful The execution was flawless and the results full flavoured The restaurant seems to combine regional specialties and French classics...in a great way. The wine list is good and not overwhelming and the house wine quite acceptable The service was very good

I had diner with my collegues and the food was good. It is auvergne cuisine, good but not too refined Very nice setting and very good service

Very nice place to eat and to stay. Astonishing view and excellent place to start for hiking. highly recommended
