Aux Delices de Cathy

I really wanted to be super positive about an interesting new place in Lambesc but, pending a return visit sometime, it is not quite right yet. The mix of starters was fine, but the main course - a tagine of lamb - didn't make the grade. The lamb was very slightly cold in the middle and I fear I heard a microwave in the open kitchen, but the weakest part was the last second addition of some sauteed onions with raisins. I had expected the raisins to be cooked with the lamb to render a sweet succulent end result, but it was not to be.

I really wanted to be super positiw about an interesting new place in lambesc, but, up to a return sometime, it's not quite right yet. the mix of appetizers was in order, but the main course made a lamb tagine the...class that was lamming in the middle very little cold and I fear I heard a microwave in the open kitchen, but the weakest part was the last second addition of some saute tweezers with rosins. I had expected that the russines were boiled with the lamb to make a sweet sukculent end result, but it was not to be.

great place. the place has a huge play area for children, only to the table, so they can sit and have an evening meal while the children play. and eating is so amazing, many different choices and full of taste and great portions. from eating. the host had a big smile and is super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for families with children.

I go a few times in the year after lambesc and it is a pleasure to eat at cathy’s. the tajine is beautiful and piping hot!
