After having eaten in one of the restaurants on the Route du Front de Mer on our first night in Royan and being very disappointed in the quality of the food and extremely slow service, Aux Delices des Crepes was a real breath of fresh air. We were greeted in a friendly manner by the waiter and given a menu to peruse. He also advised us on some dishes that we were not quite sure of translating them into English. The food arrived promptly and was well presented. I chose a salmon salad, which was delicious and followed it with Cafe Gourmand, which was imaginative and very more-ish. We popped in this restaurant whilst visiting Royan last week and enjoyed a pleasant lunch. A party of four and all eating a different choice with no complaints. The restaurantIs clean, nicely decorated and the waiter was extremely pleasant. Our only disappointment was having to rush off and miss out on coffee in order to catch the ferry timings.

We were very well received for the second time. Very charming and welcoming staff. We eat very well and the dishes are very well presented. Remember to book because many people stop there to eat or just to take a dessert. Good continuation to the whole team.

We ate all 4 with family on Saturday and we are unanimous, one of the best cake restaurants we ate. The products are homemade and are fresh. Salmon and calamar crêpes are succulent. And what about the caramel butter pancake, a slaughter. Thank you, Chief!
