My wife and I went back to Hotel L'Abbaye de Talloires for a weekend. We had decided to have Saturday evening dinner at Auberge de Pere Bise, but they were fully booked, and we got a table at our own' restaurant in the hotel. That...turned out to be a great choice. We got a nice table and welcome by Isabelle the Waitress in Charge and decided to go for the 7 courses dinner to 95 euro. very well located restaurant with magnificent view of the lake the staff was overall very good, especially our waitress of picardie they gave us a beautiful table outside, as promised with a great view of the sea we enjoyed the dishes especially the...Wal and razor clams tartare, the cancer, and they should make the best of the cheese plate, which is very good. also dessert (chocolate palette with raspberry sorbet) was very good. the cannette with artichokes was good and the trout was ok. only darker point was the fact that the service at the end was somewhat slow. we also had cocktails at the bar and they were really good.
excellent experience round. the weather was bad, so we sat in a rather atmospheric and large space on the back of the restaurant. the service was impeccable, the sommelier very knowledgeable and attentive, and eating was close to perfect. we all...had the menu couleurs de czanne 109 pp,) consisting of six curses plus a few amuse bouche. very well balanced and portioned, all were absolutely fantastic. one of the best meals I've ever had.
we have in their hotel at some places and every time it was s magical experience! every time we have eaten in their beautiful restaurant, we were always very impressed by the height of the service and exquisite eating! on a stay...we would like to hear a nice evening, a jazz trio, which on a floating ponton in front of the hotel on the lake! we look forward to the return in summer!
we went to a beautiful al fresco dinner on the grounds of the abbaye. a really nice environment. we had a wonderful meal, with excellent service. mostly regional ingredients prepared and presented kreatiw. would be highly recommended (especially outside.)

Pricey but delicious. Impeccable service. Outstanding food. Very very pleased. A splurge but would choose to do it again
