This was a small restaurant overlooking a fountain. It was in a fairly busy part of town where people were passing, a lot of them carrying baguettes.The menu, in French was displayed on a chalk board. Not being fluent in French it looked a bit difficult. Help was at hand in the form of the manager who came to our assistance and offered to translate as best he could.The meals were ready made up in paper dishes, which were then put in a steam oven once ordered. This a healthy cooking method but for me it lost a bit of French flair.That said we loved it laid back, friendly and with a great selection of beer . This is an unusual restaurant specialising in Belgian beers. The food is pre-prepared in special containers and heated up in a dedicated steamer. We had a light lunch at this restaurant on 28 June, 2017 which was a hot day so we sat outside. Life seems very calm in Pertuis so we decided on some dark and strong Trappiste beers that went down really beautifully and watched the locals go by their business in the famous relaxed French style. I had vegetarian Gnocchis and a "Salade du Jour" as a starter from the simple menu and was very happy. This is a lovely place with very friendly staff which we would be glad to visit again any time.
We were traveling through the area and stopped in the town for a bite to eat en route to Gordes. But we were very happy we did as Aux Parents Terribles was a very welcome surprise.The service was excellent. Really friendly and warm, we were even taking inside and shown all the food options and how it was cooked. The food was lovely. Not over complicated or snobby, just good quality, tasty, simple dishes. The coffee was great tooOverall we were really happy and have no hesitation giving a 5 star review. If I'm ever back in the area I will certainly visit again and would advise anyone reading this to do so too.
We have visited this restaurant 3 times since coming to live in Provence a few months ago and we love it. The food is delicious, freshly prepared and healthy. The method of cooking - steaming - means that the food keeps its texture and flavour beautifully. The staff are SO kind, friendly and helpful and have made us feel really welcome every time. (It is lovely that we have a love of Harley Davidsons in common!) The decor is great too! We're already looking forward to our next visit there.

The service is top. U feel at home straight away. Verry helpfull. Great concept. U choose ur meals and they steam it. Starter chevre with apricot was delish. Main. Porc cardamon. Cinnamon.... just amazing. All that with a cool belgian BEER
Original concept. Not all dishes are always available. Dishes are not bad, but not exceptional. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Good quality/price relation. Starter "chevre" was ok, "chicken baque" was not exceptional.
Lovely, busy, quirky restaurant with a great menu.They have a good selection of Belgian beer and soft drinks and the food is beautifully presented.
Very open minded and friendly owner family! Food was fresh and tasty. A good choice for a lunch with local French atmosphere ????
