We visited this restaurant based on reviews seen here on trip advisor as we were after somewhere for a night out just the two of us. We drove approximately 30 miles as we could not find anywhere else that we fancied closer. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, despite it not being very busy on a Thursday evening. We tried to speak as much French as we could to the staff but greatly appreciated the help we got with the menu from Stephanie who is also the chef and speaks excellent English. Chef Stephanie is a pioneer in this region cooking with flowers. She doesn’t merely use flowers for decoration, but integrates them into her cuisine! Together with her husband Daniel, a very humorous and friendly guy, they run this ‘flower restaurant’.The restaurant is located on a shady ‘garden deck’, at the back of the building housing the kitchen. We went for dinner here on a Sunday night after reading the great Trip Advisor reviews and taking advantage of if being one of the few restaurants open. We were expecting a great meal, but ended up being disappointed. The garden theme came through in the food, but the presentation seemed quite outdated and a bit over the top. We had the 27e 3 course set menu. My husband enjoyed his foie gras, but my white fish and strawberry mille feuille didn't work. For main, my grilled prawns with capsicum sorbet and mash was a pleasant surprise, and my husband's goose had good flavors. We came here today after a very hot day out, and we were seated outside under huge canopies with large fans, gently soothing us. We were served by an amazingly patient lady who was working her hardest to interpret what we were saying. So for that reason I would say she was English speaking. And there were other members I staff helping. The food arrived and WOW it was amazing. Presentation was outstanding with an assortment of petals decorating the plate. If there was a 6 star rating I would do it. Thank you so much. Book a table now

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced. The ambience of eating on a raised terrace is excellent, the food was superb and the service was extremely good and provided by a highly skilled and amusing maitre'd. The whole experience was hard to fault and the prices charged were most reasonable given the stunning quality of the food.We had not booked and were very lucky to be allocated a table. I would strongly recommend making a reservation.

This is not a place where flowers are the main dish, but they are essential ingredients to all dishes. Many different sorts of flowers and plants, some of which I had never heard of. Of particular interest were the mimosa, poppy and lilac-flavoured ice-creams: an absolute must.The landlord was always available to answer all our questions.A very good moment it was, to be experienced again soon!

The service was good. Some of the staff speaks English, so there was no trouble ordering. Each dish is artfully presented. The chef uses fresh ingredients and decorates the dishes with edible flowers. We enjoyed our meal and intended to eat there again; however, we were busy vacationing/sightseeing and did not have time for a return visit.

I can only echo other reviewers, this atmospheric restaurant was fabulous, the food was the best we have had in our tour so far. the civet d'oie was gorgeous and so unusual. the ice cream is about of this world. Highly recommend a visit, we drove over from Coly and it was well worth the drive, delicious and charming. Book a table now

So we came on a hot July night to this picturesque restaurant after looking at videos on TripAdvisor.We were not disappointed disappointed !The€29 3 course menu was amazing and the food was fantastic.The hosts were very friendly and very eager to please.Very highly recommended!.
