Decided to come to Sarzeau for a Vide Grenier (boot sale) and then walked around the little town. We passed the Avel Vor and saw lots of people sitting outside but as it was a creperie we thought we would look for something else! Anyway nothing else took our fancy so we came back and had a table outside as it was a really nice day. I had the Moules n Frites and my friend had the speciality Gallette, both were delicious, banana split and pancakes for dessert and all for about 20 Euros per person including soft drinks. Enjoyed a really great meal here one evening with some Breton friends. Our group ate our way through the menu. The galettes and pizzas were superb. I had the breton sausage with frites which would love to have again when I return. Sweet galettes for desert and the most amazing ice cream. The owner chef here also makes his own home made Breton salted caramel, some of the best have ever tasted do try it! Delicious food, great service and a really nice welcoming atmosphere and, at good prices. Definitely, worth a visit if you're in the area!!!
Stopped here for lunch whilst visiting Sarzeau. The food was delicious and great value for money. There was plenty of choice of dishes on the menu. We ordered galettes which were very tasty. The desserts were also very good. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth visiting when in Sarzeau.
We really enjoyed our galettes and crepes at the Avel Vor. Our youngest loved the children’s menu which included an almost full size pizza with a sweet pancake for dessert. Charming staff; would happily eat here again if we are ever lucky enough to be back in the area.
