Avenue Diner - Table reservation

I stopped by while in the area and checked this app for a good place to eat. Avenue Diner came up and I stopped by. The parking lot was packed with no parking spots available. Good indicator that I'm in for a treat. I decided to have Breakfast for Dinner so I ordered The meat omelet with home fries and a short stack of French Toast. Usually home fries are plate decorations for me. I don't like them and will leave them on the plate. These were delicious! The meat omelet was very meaty cheesy (some places they aren't). I went along with 16 members of my family for Thanksgiving Dinner. The food was homestyle, seasoned well delicious. They were very busy, the staff remained friendly, smiling, helpful...never overwhelmed. The host took a family picture for us! A little gem that won't disappoint. Priced very reasonably also!

Service is good, portions are generous. I don 't recommend their clam chowder, it was really a soup and not creamy at all. But everything else was really good at my table: gyro, chicken parm, burger, and fries. The service was great, our waitress was very nice and checked on us frequently.

My family is from Jersey but currently in TX due to military. THEY DO NOT HAVE SCRAPPLE HERE????. I recently went home to visit and stopped by avenue diner. The waitress was awesome. And I got my scrapple just the way I like it. I would definitely go back!

First time here. Very nice atmosphere clean. Great service. Had breakfast, very good. Good prices.
