The cashier seemed unsure about the change—my baby chino was just $1.50, but her computer showed $1.60. I gave her $5, and she gave me $3.70 back. I know it’s only 10 cents, but these days, prices aren’t usually just a whole dollar without the extra cents, so I ended up shortchanged by 20 cents. While 20 cents may seem small, it still matters.
