wanted to be woven, but remained disappointed. I have avoided the bathroom because they looked like glorified portapotties. we chose a series of small plates that want to try everything. the thun-fishing twers were good, the empandillas (empanadas of the day) were disgusting- Herbal Cream Emanadas? Yes! I am angry at me because I didn't ask what they were before we ordered, but the server never mentioned it and I just trusted that they would be good. terrible. we didn't eat them. the croquettes were okay. Chewed like chicken and cream cheese. lamb meatballs, rice and beans and plantains were good, but not difficult to get them wrong. overall it tasted as if the kitchen ran out of protein and...
The food was truly amazing! I definitely recommend this restaurant. This will be our stop every time we are in San Juan. Saturday night we ate at the regular restaurant and Sunday night we ate at the rooftop which was even better.
The food we were able to order was delicious, however, the gluten free options were limited, despite what is available in the main area. The atmosphere was lovely, the waiter was minimally helpful with my dietary restrictions.
