Baaia - Table reservation

I had been to this cafe a number of times a pre-COVID and it was fantastic! What a change this time. Looking at other reviews, it looks like it may have changed hands and the menu has changed a lot. I was there for brunch on the weekend and the place was pumping with people and the service was fantastic, but that was where it ends, and will stay ended forever! It is the worst breakfast I 've literally ever had when eating out. Bacon eggs with an addition of mushrooms for $6. Those mushrooms are from a can and were totally unseasoned. 2 tiny bits of barely cooked bacon, 2 poached eggs on a big bit of untoasted, cold, unbuttered turkish bread and a watery 'chilli jam ' which was just sweet chi...

Absolutely the worst (by far) food I've ever ever been served. Hindsight says I should have demanded a refund but I didn't. Over cooked tasteless arancini balls, under cooked potatoes in veggie stack, totally tasteless tinned mushrooms, half cooked dry Turkish bread etc. Totally disgusting. Someone in a nearby table also had a veggie stack but didn't eat it just covered it with a serviette. My wife still feels queasy at dinner time and my daughter has the runs. Avoid at all costs.

Probably the best breakfast I've ever had! Very busy little place and I can see why! Would recommend you wait for this table..
