food and service was excellent. but it is a real shutdown when the host (owner? says I only have this table for them: this is a tiny 2 top in the middle of an empty space around 18 o'clock and then goes to 2 people on 4 tops, while the space remains more than three quarters empty for the entire 2 hours we were. literal empty, no person in a table.
Greeted by hostess who was nice. The waiter was annoyed and not friendly. He didn’t take everyone’s drink order. Brought wrong drink. Didn’t suggest specials and explain menu. It was my first time there. The food is good. The music is so loud that it isn’t relaxing or enjoyable. I would go back, request a new wait staff, and not want live music.
wonderful experience! highly recommended! I went to enjoy a brunch with my dog rossco (frenchie) and we were greeted from the beginning! met alan and the staff were so friendly. experience was a 10/10 and eating reminded me of home.

Excellent Red Sangria and Margarita! My Vacation Frits was another highlight. We really enjoyed the cool vibe at Babalou and it worked out perfectly with proximity to the Paramount Theatre. We would definitely come back!
