Really disappointing!! Sintra is a beautiful town with a wealthy historical backdrop. To summarise this place however: poor. We were greeted with a morose attitude of ‘aaahh more people’ by the male waiter whose seemed like he was having a tough day and would rather be anywhere else. The staff appeared frenzied and stressed throughout. Likely a staffing issue. Our drinks were forgotten about. They also forgot our orders! The star dish, Cod a Bras, was completely tasteless. Overcooked, no flavour. Not what was expected given the reputation. The roast sweet potatoes were also overcooked. Nobody was particularly friendly; especially the lady we think is the owner. Probably was a good restaurant...
Um local altamente recomendado para comer em Sintra se gosta de bacalhau. Eles servem de todas as maneiras possíveis. Destaque o serviço amigável que eles oferecem. Fomos numa sexta-feira de Páscoa, esperamos mais de uma hora para comer mas valeu a pena. Sobrecarregados de trabalho e nos trataram com muita gentileza. É assim que é gostoso ir aos lugares!!!
We weren't sure if we wanted to go to a restaurant that only had cod but we read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Are we glad we did! EVERYTHING we had was absolutely delicious. The croquettes, the stew (OMG) the cod burger that is now dreamed about...everything was wonderful!
The menu is based around cod fish and it does so much elevation to this simple fish. We had the pate, cakes, ceviche and tongues. Wow, exceptional. The food was so good and the service and staff were great. Would recommend without hesitation. Book a table now
In this restaurant, every dish has cod, but you get varied great flavors due to chef’s art in cooking the fish: grilled, fried, raw, soups, and sandwiches. The four of us all enjoyed the food very much!
Embora o preço seja relativamente alto, você entenderá ao ver como a comida é preparada. A comida é deliciosa e eles são simpáticos. Lembro-me de ter ficado um pouco decepcionado com o vinho da casa.
