My collegues and I were served by a very cheerful and delightful waitress who was quick to bring out our well-deserved cold beverages. All were greatly satisfied by their choices on the menu. I was delighted by my choice, a filet of pickerel like none I have had before and I come from a family that fishes, so trust me... I have eaten a lot of fish ;) It was accompanied by sides of german-style potatoes and a bed of kale, simple yet so delicious. The setting only added to our dining experience, right next to Bach's statue and the famous church where he worked in Leipzig, St-Thomas (Thomaskirche). To top off a great eating experience, the bill was quite reasonable. I would return in a heartbea...
we hadden niet veel tijd en kozen voor een hoofdjust. de ober was wat jolig maar heel welwilling. de gevulde glazen kwamen gelukkig uit zijn bibberende hand zonder ongelukken op onze tafel. de maaltijd beviel heel goed, zeer smakelijk. een wienerschnitzel of een bord met prima spaghetti, heel goed op smaak brought. iedereen tevreden, uitzicht op het beeld van en de thomaskirche en de prijzen zijn nog van een oost europees level. op naar het concert in het gewandhaus, het was great!
if you have the chance to sit outside, then the Bach-close atmosphere is very nice, it only disturbs the chain smokers when you sit in wind unfavorably. inside, the ambiente is as eager as a ward room (I fell into a less friendly comparison, but I perceived it as inappropriate.) eating is qualitatiw in the middle bourgeois field, in sparsely there are too many alternatives that stop from returning.
wanted to drink a bag with my wife. the first beer came quickly, but then at 22 o'clock a group of 40 people came to meet two service forces. when after more than half an hour there was still no waiter for it out (only 6 tables were occupied) I went into order, which is actually a no go from me. 15 minutes later we had our second drink. there are more tourist-friendly locals in the city.

in general it is a normal restaurant, with eating without great luxury. the main problem is that they need to serve for a long time and at least at our table have messed up and we had to wait longer. the waiters were at least friendly!
freshly baked torts and freshly brewed coffee- opposite the thomas church. Many international guests and yet the tradition of producing the good torts is still held up. the service is charming, what do you want more?
the stars for the service. the cappuccino a gray. watery, tasteless. the pie ok. had more spicy lerche with obst ( 2 half orange slices) and cherry cake. a little sweet. the floor good. the juice choirs very good.
on the thomas church directly on the bachstatue lies the bachstübl. it consists of 2 classic cafe rooms and also has the matching offer of coffee, cake etc. everything is nice and friendly and we liked well.
