The Feldberg in the Black Forest is more to the north-east. On the viewing platform is an Alpine pointer, which describes the panorama in detail. On a Sunday, this lovely excursion restaurant was already closed at 2 p.m. We stood in front of the closed door. I find this a real shame, especially on Sundays when many guests visit the Bachtel. There was also nothing on the homepage that said this restaurant closes at 2:00 p.m. So there is room for improvement here.

Excellent service and spectacular view! The products are fresh and of good quality. I ate a cordon blue and I must say that the dish is rich and substantial. The staff is very friendly especially Mirko. We will happily return!

We are sooo disappointed, it's completely closed on Sunday : . We like to walk from home, have about 1.5 to 2 hours and then sooo something. We'll look for a new destination.
I enjoyed visiting the Bachtel and restaurant often. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. It's a shame that simple hikers are no longer welcome.
The view is amazing! The food was very good. The approach is a bit narrow, but if you take it slowly it's no problem.
