Back 40 Kitchen - Table reservation

We had a fantastic experience at Back 40 Kitchen tonight! We traveled from Cape Cod to Jersey and were eager to enjoy a meal made with the same quality ingredients we use at home: farm-to-table organic. 1. The food was unbelievably delicious. 2. The prices were amazing - the grass-fed filet dinner for $35, which includes biodynamic and organic hand-cut fries, was a steal compared to what we would pay at Whole Foods to cook at home. 3. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We went for brunch today and, as always, the food was delicious with a farm-to-table style. Ian, the chef, excels at creating vegan dishes on the menu. The only suggestion would be to update the menu as it has been the same for a while. My favorite dish is the French toast and my daughter's favorite is the vegan frittata. I had been wanting to try this place out and finally did - it did not disappoint! The ingredients were fresh, the menu was eclectic, and the atmosphere was inviting.

fantastic. all the food was delicious and well done. the atmosphere would have been nice, but behind us was an obnoxily loud doubledate. it was almost impossible to hear anything except them. that is not a reason for the restaurant. they themselves were amazing, attentive and well versed in the meal. I would highly recommend! be aware that it is a bit expensive!

I was impressed by the quality of the food and the attentive service at this restaurant. It's a great place to stop at when passing through Connecticut. You won't regret it. Remember, a healthy body leads to a healthy spirit. Namaste.
