So let me begin by saying I regularly barbeque low and slow and I 've doing it for many years. Whenever I get an opportunity to have some Q in a new spot, I like to hit the off-the-beaten-path type places, because you can find a hidden gem. When I got to Bebob 's I entered the bar and asked about the food. A patron at the bar raved about it. The barmaid quickly told me I would have to wait an hour to an hour and a half for a meal. No problem I thought to myself, good things come to those that wait. Besides, a beer or two seems like a good way to kill some time. Terrible dive bar. Most of my family got ribs and they were drier than a desert. You 'd assume a restaurant with such high reviews would be at least mediocre, but the food was awful. Felt as if I gave my two cents to the simpleton of a chef, I 'd get my head beaten in. Chef should quit his job, and instead the staff can just serve beer, because clearly that 's all they can do correctly. Don 't order any beverages that need a glass, because I wouldn 't be surprised if it wasn 't washed. The bathrooms were gross, and I doubt it was up to health code. The brainless, brawny chef is likely threatening the inspector to stay away from this dump.
My fiancé and I were looking for a real townie bar with good BBQ while we were on vacation. We were not disappointed. The BBQ is delicious and the people were nothing but friendly. Next time we're in the area we'll be sure to come back. The ribs were so tender they fell right off the bone, and the hog wings were something I'd never had before but will absolutely get again.
Biker friendly pub off the main street. Delicious authentic BBQ with popular plus creative offerings. Very friendly staff and owners. We will be back soon!
