Wir waren Frühstücken bei der Bäckerei Berger. Es gibt ca. 5 verschiedene, typisch österreichische Frühstücksvariationen. Das Gebäck riecht und schmeckt wie frisch aus dem Ofen (ist es auch). Der Rest ist durchschnittlich; also Marmelade, Eier, Schinken kann man alles in guter Qualität haben. Der Preis ist aber eher etwas zu hoch im Vergleich zu anderen vergleichbaren Frühstücksangeboten (hatte das "Frank's Frühstück" mit 2 Gebäck, Marmelade, Butter, 1 Ei und Kaffee für ca. 6 €). Die umfangreicheren Frühstücksvariationen (inkl. Schinken, Käse und O-Saft) liegen dann schon zw. 10 - 12 €. p.s. Den Kaffee ("Verlängerter") fand ich auch besonders gut.
Wondered past and decided that coffee and a savoury snack would be just the trick. We spotted a rack of pretzels but they were stale, just for decoration. Unfortunately they had not got pretzels but they had 'stängele' which is a long stick of pretzel bread, the dough was soft and obviously fresh. The coffee was excellent and was served properly with a glass of water and biscuit. The outside seating area is peaceful as the street its on is quiet. I would definitely recommend this.
We came in here for breakfast having smelt the pastries as we walked by. The choice was amazing, and the lady gave us recommendations, which were spot on :-). We had a variety of drinks, all of which were fantastic. A lovely atmosphere - very relaxed and perfect for breakfast - felt very 'local' without being uncomfortable for tourists. Only disappointment - they weren't open on the Sunday for us to return, or bring some food away with us.
Wir haben hier fast täglich unsere Brötchen geholt. Ganz toll ist übrigens der hausgemacht Mohnkuchen jeweils Freitags zu haben. Am Samstag haben wir dort zu gutem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis gefrühstückt. Gerne wieder
