Backwoods Grill - Table reservation

We decided to have dinner here a second time as the food and service were very good last time. This time it was Veteran's Day, November 11, 2023. One of us was a veteran and he wore his veteran hat. As a result he was given 3 free beers. The other 3 of us had to buy our drinks. I had the Smoked Brisket Street Tacos (a specialty here according to the menu). I opted for the horseradish version instead of the BBQ sauce. Three large tacos for $13. Very good, except I didn't taste any horseradish. I told our server and she promptly brought some for me. My wife had the Shrimp dinner. All was good once again. I do wish they had a better selection of craft beers here, especially porters or other dar...

Waitress was awesome along with her tattoo's. She turned on Chicago NASCAR race for us. When we ordered food she said it was going to be awhile but we didn't think it would be over an hour. We finally had to get it to go and when we got home the order was wrong. Also one of the people in our group found a bottle cap in the bottom of his coke. During this whole thing they only took his coke off the bill. So disappointed in this visit. Will NEVER eat there again. Also 3 in our group live there and will definitely talk about it. Once again the waitress was awesome.

This is our first visit under new ownership. Very impressed at how clean and bright everything was. We did not eat while we were here this time, but based on our experience, we would definitely return for food. Bartender was friendly with a good drink selection.

Backwoods is our favorite place to go when we are at our cabin. Great food, staff and owners are friendly, and the atmosphere is fun.Parking: Large parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
