My husband and I go out every Friday night and I chose Kagura recently. I was trying to find an authentic establishment that could transport us back to our favorite country to visit. Tucked away in chill El Segundo, lies Kagura! We made a reservation, found free street parking, was sat down quickly and we started to scan the menu. Our server was so kind and patient, served our hot tea and water often. I was craving a piece of fresh fish but wanted all the tastes. This restaurant has so many bento options and I was in heaven! Kagura in El Segundo is a fantastic spot for Japanese cuisine. The food is consistently delicious and authentic. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, this place is definitely worth a visit!
I went here for my birthday about a week ago, and it was the best! I actually came back 2 days later because of how great the food was. The staff was also incredibly nice and helpful. I can't wait to go back and try even more things on the menu!

I love this place. We’ve been coming here every week, it’s amazing authentic Japanese cuisine. Good sake selection, clean crisp Asahi on Tap. Izakaya fun times, and of course and generous wonderful staff. Try the fried eggplant with miso!
I absolutely adore this restaurant. Their curry is hands down the best I've ever had. I make sure to visit at least once a week. The staff are incredibly friendly and the prices are very affordable.
We stopped here on our travels for a quick sushi bite. The place was busy but they got us seated quickly! The staff was friendly and attentive. Sushi was fresh.
Very cosy on the inside seating, friendly wait staff. The bento dinners looked impressive. Filling but not full, probably the healthiest meal I had.
