I parked my car with my daughters and, as we were getting out, an older Caucasian man who works there—possibly the owner—started verbally attacking me. He accused me of yelling at an elderly man and driving the wrong way. He even told me to get my license and showed no shame in speaking to me that way in front of my children. I had simply parked and was taking my kids to a dental appointment at 8:30 am. I told him that I hadn’t argued with anyone, and you would think he would stop since his accusations were completely untrue. I do not support business owners like this, and I certainly do not condone biased and judgmental grown men speaking to women in such a disrespectful manner.
I often visit this place after my doctor’s appointments nearby, and I love to get a sesame bagel with cream cheese. They generously slather on the cream cheese, and the bagels have the perfect texture. I've dined in a few times, and the servers were always friendly and attentive. However, like any restaurant, some menu items can be hit or miss. I prefer to stick with their baked goods since everything tastes so fresh and well-made. I also noticed there’s new management since my last visit, but all the staff seem the same and the food quality remains excellent.
This restaurant isn't for meat lovers; here, the protein primarily comes from fish and dairy. Most dishes include a fresh bagel, either as part of a sandwich or as a side.
SWMBO opted for one of her favorites: a Tuna Melt with cheddar on a twister bagel. The tuna salad was deliciously smooth. I chose the Pepper and Eggplant Sandwich on a toasted 'Everything' bagel. It was a little greasy and messy due to the oil from the grilled vegetables and butter on the bagel, but it was packed with flavor.
The portions for all menu items are incredibly generous. There's a wide variety of cakes and baked goods to choose from. The cream cheese and lox bagel is by far the largest I've had in Toronto. The dining area has a vibrant and cozy atmosphere.

The service was outstanding, and their baked goods are extraordinary. All three pies—apple, cherry, and blueberry—are exceptional! This is definitely a place you should try!
Today will be my last time in this store. I order Greek Salad what I received was a plain tasteless salad with pale old lettus leaves for 18 I couldn't believe!!!!!
Really cozy place with extraordinary bagels and great food in general. The service is even better!
I got a gigantic cookie for under $2, and it was delicious! The portion sizes here are massive.
