Sunday lunch on the afternoon of 8th September: truly excellent food, exceptionally good service and a very good ambience at Bakers Arms (Waltham Abbey). We had roast turkey and roast beef, followed by a delicious salted caramel sundae! Indeed, I was more than very impressed by the (blatantly) hard working staff who run a very tight ship here and they were obviously very customer orientated. Our server Ellie could only be described as excellent : a very bubbly individual and full of energy, attended to all our requirements with a magnificent smile! Stayed next door and booked a table for dinner on line, quick and simple to do. Arrived and shown straight to our table and was served by Sophie who took our drinks order. Great choice of food including a list of specials. The food arrived which was hot and plentiful and tasted lovely. Followed this with a desert again spot on. All round impressed and would definitely recommend. Thanks again to Sophie for the great service and chat.

Every time I come here I get a warm reception from coral and Jo beautiful setting. Great little pub for a drink and some dinner.

We had a lovely meal very good service our waitress Ellie was so wonderful , polite so friendly very professional.
