I got to go back in my youth hood in this candy store ,there is a big selection of old candy. The problem was it got dark shaded in there and I had a hard time seeing after awhile and with one girl only working with the candy register side the line behind me got longer so I had to stop buying the candy, maybe it was a sign, lol. And they also have ice cream which I am assuming they're named for, I had blue raspberry ice, it was a soft ice not like a slushy, . Gotta check it out
this is just one of my favorite spots to go into the environment and when my friend comes to visit and when they are open, it is always a date spot for us, he loves it so much there and I swear every time we go, we get the same place on the bar in the back, it is like our own personal seat. Anyway, there is everything so good and easy to go one of my favourite places, especially in summer.
This place is the quintessential sweet shop. Old fashioned candies, chocolates, popcorn, peanuts, but mostly their fantastic sundae bar. Milkshakes, Malts and Eggcreams abound. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by the sweet smell of fresh homemade waffle cones. Everything is high quality and deliciousBring your kids. Nuff said. My husband and I took our 11-year-old grandson to Ballyhoo. It's a fascinating historical building and the ice cream is delicious! They have a wide selection of desserts available as soon as you walk in. The prices are a bit high, but the variety is fantastic! The ice cream is worth the cost. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be returning in the future!
This place is delightful! My family visited around Christmas time. We sat down and were served by a waitress for a real “old fashioned ice cream shop” experience. The ice cream sundaes were delicious. My husband and daughter even had mugs of hot chocolate! Before you leave make sure to stop at the candy counter for all your favorites, old and new!
