my friend and I came before our walk to the botanical gardens and were not disappointed. the atmosphere was beautiful, the staff so friendly and the eating was delicious. both the prices and the portions were great, we were not disappointed. I managed to get some curry on my white dress and was so worried it was stained, so I asked for a wet serviette but the dame went to get stain remover and helped me get rid of the spot - there is no mark at all! we enjoyed our stay, the time flew by and the owner made it a pleasant experience.
very late to write a review, I and my partner had one because a baby in the sick house, and whenever we wanted to go out to eat something, we would always be here. even on own faust sometimes lol! eating was best I tried in a long time, and made us so welcome in so difficult times, manager was a nice to the earth woman, it was nice and clean. we loved coming back here soon, very welcoming.
fabulous lunch in this sheffield institution. last visited as a student 26 years ago and every bit as good as I remembered. the onion bhaji star was amazing, freshly cooked to order and served with mixed salad. many thanks for taking our little dog!
