The pizza has really lost its former glory. They pre-bake the crust, add the toppings, and cook it quickly, which causes the toppings to separate from the bread. Even the sauce has gone downhill over the years; it's now just plain and unremarkable. Prices have increased while quality has sharply declined. The staff also cited a different price than what was posted, claiming that prices fluctuate daily. If you're looking for a decent slice of pizza, this place might be okay, but don't expect anything special.
This place is great. They are a small business though. Their prices have increased immensely, due to the price increase of everything because of COVID. Hope you can all understand though this is a family business trying to survive and their Pizza is the best. So please if you're in the neighborhood of Westheimer Montrose area stop by. You will not be disappointed. Bambolino's isn't old school archon in the neighborhood. They have some damn good pizza!!!
This is a very simple, small pizza place that's perfect for grabbing a quick slice of crispy pizza on the go. You can also take a moment to relax and enjoy your meal with some Italian beer or wine. If you're looking for a light bite, they offer fresh snack salads as well. Their frozen lemonade is fantastic—make sure to get a big one! We've been coming here for 29 years, and the quality has always been consistently good.
Great pizza at a reasonable price. The crust is a classic style with a fluffy, toasted bread texture, unlike the thin crust of New York or the pan style of Detroit. I dream about the crust when I'm not eating it. Even the cheese, sauce, and toppings used is leagues better than any chain pizza. When I'm in the area it's a must have. They used to be all over Houston but this is the only one left, sadly. This is probably the kind of pizza folks from other places speak about and I see what they mean. THIS IS SOME REAL PIZZA!!!!!
It has a satisfying crunch with every bite, and the crust is cooked just right. I came in to satisfy a craving and discovered a new favorite spot that I'll definitely be visiting regularly. It's hard to find pizza by the slice these days, but for $5, I got a huge slice that was cut in half, completely satisfying my craving. See you tomorrow, Mr. Bambolinos! Wow!
this pizza was so good! we are originally from the middle west, so we grew up on godfathers and this place to me was so delicious! we ordered the great veggie pizza and a med huhn. definitiw every penny worth! it's going to go now since we've just moved into the opposite.
This is definitely my favorite new pizza place! I usually order the pepperoni pizza, and the sauce is incredibly flavorful. I enjoy adding ranch, red pepper flakes, and hot sauce to my pizza, but it's delicious on its own too. The crust is wonderfully flaky and light. Book a table now
Great tasting pizza cooked to perfection. Fresh toppings and the crust is amazingly crunchy. Service is also great and the prices are on point. I highly recommend this location. Forgot to mention how delicious the cheese sticks are...highly recommend to try.
