We had the Omakase for our anniversary dinner. We were very excited to be able to go to a more upscale Japanese restaurant in Burlington. We usually head to places in Toronto to eat fancier Japanese and we loved every bite. The Chawanmushi (savoury egg custard dish) was divine we ate some dishes that we'd never had before. I especially loved the soup in the ironstone teapot. The sushi was also amazing. Would definitely come back bring people. Elegant simple decor and nice service. The quality is reflected in the pricing and should not be compared to the run of the mill sushi restaurants that are usually found in Burlington. (which we also enjoy for our regular sushi cravings). If you looking...

Sushi Masayuki is a great experience, one must-have for omakase in the GTA.In a quaint location, with the simplest of decors, Chef Masayuki churns out one course after the other, each building on top of the flavors of the other. We were here for my wife's birthday, and we felt celebrated.Chef also spoke about what he enjoys eating outside of work, which was a simple pasta. We will definitely visit again. The decor can certainly be improved to match his prowess. It would also be very interesting to see if Chef Masayuki can extend his skills beyond sushi and perhaps look into collaborations with chefs from other cuisines. I personally would love to experience the flavors of Italy through a Japan...

What a wonderful experience! Great food, impeccable service and enjoyable atmosphere. We ordered sushi and sashimi dinner for main course, along with tempura and pork belly appetizers, two deserts and sake. Both sushi and sashimi were top of the line in terms of both freshness and taste and deserve special mention, as well as tempura (absolutely the best). Overall, this was a wonderful and truly enjoyable meal!

Discovered this treasure restaurant randomly by searching “sushi” on the Google map after hiking in Bronte Creek trails. First time tried several sashimi, the toro and uni they offered are really amazing. Then I decided to try their omakase course, I must say they offer the best omakase in the price range around $120. I will often have my dinner here in the future although I live in Vaughan. Book a table now

Excellent appetizers but sashimi poor quality, small shavings of tired fish, almost translucent. Servers are good but senior chefs not present, food prepared by anonymous young, probably trainees. Definitely not worth high prices they charge. But miso soup was very good! Don't be turned off by cheap tables, chairs and poor lighting in this place.

Yuki is a true artist. His fish is as fresh as could be imagined.. I'm sure most of it is flown in overnight from Japan. You would be hard pressed to find better quality Sushi anywhere in the GTA and most definitely not at this price point or accessibility to reservations. My go to.. always.

I loved Mye 1 and knowing that Sushi Masakuki brings its roots from such an incredible sushi restaurant is wonderful. Food was great and atmosphere was relaxed. Not as formal a setting as Mye 1 which makes it more approachable, but the food was top notch!

Good food but extremely pricy. Got the sukiyaki special and the beef was no more that 100grams. The sushi was okay. The sushi rice needs work. Nice sake.
