I dined in and received a very small piece of haddock. I didn't request a small portion, it was just given to me. I paid around £9 for the dish, which came with chips. The portion size was underwhelming. Next time, I may just opt for takeout in hopes of receiving a more generous portion size.
love it here! in the cherwell pub many paintings for many different occasions and never had any mistakes. feels very comfortable, clean and relaxed. always helpful in ordering food with allergies. good selection of events and good music. Finally, the staff are always helpful and friendly.
5. This restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away on a side street. The staff were extremely helpful and the premises were spotlessly clean. The freshly cooked fish and chips were delicious, with generous portions and high quality ingredients. They also serve a large, well-made mug of tea.
soothe a large facility that serves good food. a very great impressive vegetarian menu. the tariff is fair. they can see sport on many screens. Disabled parking is available near the hotel and are completely disabled. Sunday afternoon seemed nice and quiet. Book a table now
Lovely lightly battered fish, though there was a little bit too much oil sitting in the batter. Chips were red hot but lovely. The place is well laid out, and waitress service too.
I always make sure to stop by this restaurant whenever I can for a delicious meal of fish and chips. The food is fantastic and the staff is incredibly friendly.

"Visited for lunch today after a tour of Hook Norton Brewery food was excellent and lovely friendly service. We were celebrating a friends 60th and they kindly decorated a plate with chocolate Happy Birthday and put a candle in his dessert. Would highly recommend!"
