We stayed nearby at the NH Oberhausen and the Bangkok is approximately half way between this and the railway station being five minutes ' walk from each. The menu was in Thai and German (unsurprisingly! but when the friendly waitresses realised we were not German menus...in English were provided. All the dishes ordered turned out to be excellent but, being picky my pork dish had little or no chilli despite being described as 3* heat. Luckily I carry my own hot sauce for such occasions! A house weiss wine trocken was ordered and a bottle of Italian Orvietto delivered which was very pleasant nevertheless. The final bill came to about €50 which, for three courses and drinks was very fair howeve...
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff and was close to our hotel (NH Oberhausen . The food was very good and you get a solid portion. If you are several people dining I recommend ordering different dishes and sharing. I also recommend to try...their Thai Ice tea as an alternative to eg soft drinks. The prices are nice, but then again that says more about the place I'm from than this restaurant ;
