Bar41 is a smallish cafe in the middle of Williamstown. It's decorated in the country rustic style so many eateries do nowadays. It was ok I guess. Our food was ricotta bruschetta with basil and honey. A somewhat strange combination but tasted OK. What spoilt it were the peppercorns on top. Not only are they a tooth breaker but way too strong. I was tasting pepper for the remainder of the day. Coffee was hot but very weak. Also interesting to note the owner's reaction when 12 Asian tourists turned up for lunch. They enquired about tables and the owner's response was somewhat abrupt, informing them the group was too large and they'd have to sit wherever they could. They proceeded to order 12...
