It's a shame that all of the bars on the slopes in Chamonix seem to be under the same brand and ownership and have a monopoly over the prices on the mountain. Every bar charges the same prices and serves the same mediocre food, At 8.10 for a large beer - someone is really taking the ****. Had it have been cheaper I would have been happy to spend a little more money and time here. Unfortunately it was so expensive we only stayed for one. Take your own beer and sit on the piste and soak up the atmosphere! Or alternatively try Cormayeur in Italy. The Italians are a lot more friendly than the French and they seem to be able to sell beer and decent food on the mountain for half the price!

lunch on the terrace (about 13:30 ) in the sun on cushion seats with a mood music not too strong, just what it takes!!!! then don’t expect a gastro menu, it’s a buvette, ideal for a small snack break. price side, to give you an idea, you have to count 7.50 euros for a hot dog, 8.60 euros for a fcaccetta sandwich (panini) and 4.20 euros for a drink 33 cl type orangina ... if you have a bigger hunger and if you have a smaller budget prefer a mixed sandwich. Efficient and cordial service, quite fluid waiting for product orders and receptions.

Great place to stop for a few beers after a hard morning on the slopes.Reasonable drinks prices considering it's on the mountain, food leaves a lot to be desired, but filled a hole and wasn't terrible (italian toasted sandwich was average, hotdog was dire).Loads of chilled seating, bean bags, wide sofas etc. All outdoors so perfect in the sun. Lous but chilled music playing, great place to be!

Lent a few days visiting this mountain bar .. weather was fantastic - too warm to ski in the afternoons .so we just chilled in the bean bags - listening to the music played by the DJ !Didn't want to go back to the skiing If you go in march - it's a must !
