The Bar de la Soierie was recommended for lunch by a local, for its food, not its location,(it's opposite an old iron foundry). As we entered, we knew it was going to be okay. The inside was clean and air-conditioned, containing 30 to 40 diners. We were greeted in incomprehensible French by a small jolly lady.With little say in the matter, we were seated and given; soup; salad; rib-eye steak; a cheese course, followed by cake and coffee.
