my opinion in 2021: simple, well cooked, good prices: that's all it takes for a success! a breath of oxygen in the middle of the other too expensive restaurants in the village. my opinion in 2023: a real derringolade. drastic decrease in quality. impressive price rise. The menu of the day is gone. Chinon's pichet once suave and fruity is a bit acidic. Anyway, frank disappointment while I was having a pleasure coming back here. for example: industrial and frozen fries mac cain for 15€. It cut my appetite for dessert.
Dinner in this month of August on this very quiet old church square and a pleasant charm. Quality and attentive service. Good quality gizzard salad. Also of quality but too small portion. Tarte tatin house hmmmm not as copier as we hoped and caramel misses the call! Despite the corrections to be made, this restaurant is recommended by its home and atmosphere in the heart of Azay the Rideau.
Nice little place to eat, on a small square opposite a church, quiet. Limited menu but all good. Ate there twice and very pleased. Even do a veggie burger ! The couple who served the tables were pleasant, helpful and engaging. Good portions and our Picon beers contained a decent shot of Picon. I liked this place.
Very satisfied with our two-legged dinner and our four-legged companion on the terrace well sheltered from the rain. Simple but tasteful dishes, quality cheese plate and homemade tatin pie, a red Chinon to perfect everything. .o
