We recently booked a table for dinner on a tribute night, despite having a booking confirmation, a booking reminder on the day when we arrived we were told there was no table for us. We had a half an hour drive to get to the restaurant so were not very happy to be turned away. The manager was insistent that they had tried to call me to get a £10 deposit per person but despite telling him this was untrue as I have had no missed calls or messages left he was really rude and unhelpful. My wife and I have dined at Barandas and had many take-aways over the years. This New Year we were kindly invited again to a New Year celebration meal. Unfortunately, due to being unwell on the day we were unable to make it. Our friends that we were due to go with apologised on our behalf. To our amazement our friends brought round a take-away that afternoon that was sent by Barandas because we couldn't make it. We would like to thank them most sincerely for this kind gesture. The next day we re-heated the meal (which we have never done before) It was absolutely delicious and we would like to thank them wholeheartedly and look forward to our next dining experience with them
I recently dined at Barbara with a group of friends for a buffet night and it was fantastic. The value was great and I loved being able to try a variety of dishes without having to order full portions. The food was delicious and perfect for anyone looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. I will definitely be returning, not just for the buffet, but to try more of their menu.
I ordered Chicken Karahi and another recommended Chicken curry last night, but both dishes lacked taste and flavor. They were undercooked, and it seems like the chefs have a lot to learn. I tried calling to provide feedback but couldn't reach anyone. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone as it was a very bad experience and a waste of money.

I haven't visited this restaurant in over a year. It can be best described as okay, but nothing more than that. They have entertainment there every Wednesday, if I remember correctly, featuring an Elvis impersonator.

Very bad experience, food lack flavors chicken not cooked to perfection too chewy would never recommend it to anyone, completely waste of money.

Just enjoyed the best meal ever at Baranda! Lovely food and great staff.
