Baratxuri - Table reservation

if they had been in ramsbottom a few sundays ago, they might have seen that the food critic jay rayner returned to levanter to get his promised bask steak from which they first heard in the juli. I also went back to baratxuri again, just around the corner, to some more photos with food for fiona joe (see the first preview here.) this time I had precious daylight, just before the people rushed into the dark. when the winter returns, I always try to remember that we still have beautiful, cheerful restaurants like these to cheat us. there is so much color on these photos, although it was a shame not to share them here.

I have always wondered why no one has opened a real basque pintxos bar in the north. with the popularity of tapas they would have thought that this was the next obvious step. pintxos are essentially small snacks, often (but not always) literally spit on a piece of bread. it is also not a million miles from yo! Sushi concept. they pay at the end with their little baptism of sticks instead of their plates. so it is also a bit like a buffet and we all love a buffet.

always fantastic. with the young from the work that some creepy eaters, but everyone loved it. high points were the jamon, the aubergine and of course the tuxleton. I had no time for the cheesecake.

baraxturi is the reason why google need a 6 option. without exception, they offer every time excellent food, drinks and service.
