The Krönners operate several Konditorei in southern Bavaria. There are at least 2 different companies operated by different members of the same family. We have tried most if not all of them. To the best of my recollection, this is the lowest rating I have given. Caveat, this is still an excellent cafe and we may have hit them on a bad day. Service was slow and inefficient. We thought the torte were just a shade less than outstanding. We are torte lovers and have exceptionally high expectations. I do not give 5 Point ratings very often and it bothers me when an old favorite does not earn one.
Das kleine Cafe hat eine gute Kuchenauswahl aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Die Schokolade ist auch gut. Der Cappuccino schmeckt trotz des hohen Preises sehr wässrig. Der Service ist nicht sehr effektiv. Man wartet bei den Tischen vor dem Laden endlos. Es bleibt nichts anderes übrig als im Laden die Bestellung aufzugeben. Die Preise sind hoch in Relation zur Qualität. Ein anderes, besser bewertetes Cafe ist beim Kuchen 20 % und beim Kaffee noch wesentlich preiswerter. Verbesserungen würden nicht schaden.

För det första heter stället Krönner och det ligger på Dorfstrasse 17a. Det lilla caféet är för det mesta fullsatt, vilket borgar för god kvalitet.Vi var där 2 gånger och blev bemötta av 2 vänliga damer. Be om att få deras specialitet - en kaka vilkens namn jag inte kommer ihåg, men som var brunmelerad. Rena drömmen! - men så är det också fråga om en chokladmanufaktur.

Locale piccolo che offre caffè, cioccolata di ogni tipo e torte deliziose. Le due signore che servono ai tavoli parlano un inglese essenziale, peccato per la poca cortesia di una delle due (mai un sorriso, seccata direi, perché eravamo poco rapidi nello scegliere le ordinazioni). La qualità delle torte però buona e varia. 12 euro due caffè e due fette di torta.
This town is a like fairy tale with beautiful buildings with murals grin children's classics. This coffee house was on the Main Street and was very inviting. We sat inside and the owner, Barbara Kronner, came by to take our orders and chatted with me about her cakes. Coffee was excellent so was my chocolate torte. There are tables outside for warmer days.
Had tea and cake here after a long walk over the mountains. Great selection of cakes, many quite different to the usual apple strudel and cheesecake served everywhere. Lots of cake to choose from, plus a selection of chocolate bars and a small cafe area at the front. Lovely!
In un gelido pomeriggio d'inverno abbiamo scoperto questo posto pulito e comodo dove ci siamo rifugiati per sfuggire al tempo inclemente. Abbiamo gustato uno strudel di mele con crema di vaniglia e un caffè americano. Tutto buono!
